Strings Classes (Please see General Rules)

Supplementary rules for strings classes

A         All accompaniments must be to piano – backing tapes are not allowed.

B         Fees for strings classes include the use of the Official Accompanist, if appropriate.

C         Where the services of an official accompanist are required, a copy of the own choice music
must be sent
with your entry form to;

            no later than 30 September 2008.  Duplicated or photocopied music is allowed if permission
of the publishers has been obtained, or if taken from a volume and the original is presented
on the day of the competition.
   Please ensure that all copies are legible and reach the
accompanist in a fit state to be used, i.e. stuck together with sticky tape, not stapled and not folded.

D          The time limits stated should be observed (please see General Rules).
